Section 01Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to every person who accesses THE PIVOTAL PROTOCOL Academy. It is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service. Violations may result in warning, suspension, termination without refund, and where applicable, legal action.
The intent. Most of these rules exist for two reasons. First, every account that is shared, every video that is redistributed, and every scrape that pulls our work into someone else's product is a tax on the learners who pay fairly. Second, when the curriculum touches a subject as easy to misrepresent as compound research, the framing matters; carelessness in public can put a teaching operation at risk.
Section 02Account integrity
No
Account sharing is prohibited.
One subscription is for one person. Sharing your login with a partner, friend, family member, colleague, or community is a violation. We use device, geography, and concurrency signals to detect sharing.
No
Account selling, transferring, or renting is prohibited.
You may not sell, lease, gift, transfer, or otherwise convey your account or any access credentials to another person.
OK
Multiple devices on one account is fine.
You can study from your phone, tablet, and desktop. Concurrency limits apply only to detect sharing, not to constrain your own multi-device use.
Section 03Content reuse and redistribution
No
Reselling Academy content is prohibited.
You may not republish, repackage, resell, sublicense, or commercially distribute any module, video, article, document, calculator, framework, or downloadable file.
No
Recording or redistributing video lessons is prohibited.
You may not screen-record, capture, transcribe at scale, mirror, or rehost any video lesson or live session, in whole or in part, in any format, on any platform.
No
Using Academy content to train ML systems is prohibited.
You may not use any portion of Academy content as input to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or condition machine-learning models, language models, embedding models, or generative systems.
OK
Personal study notes are yours.
You can take notes, build your own summaries, talk about what you have learned, and apply the frameworks in your own decisions. The license you receive is for personal educational use.
OK
Brief quotation with attribution is fine for normal educational discussion.
A short quote in a tweet or article that credits THE PIVOTAL PROTOCOL and links back is normal academic engagement. Republishing entire modules is not.
Section 05Technical conduct
No
Reverse engineering and scraping are prohibited.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or scrape the Service, content, software, or APIs. Automated extraction of content, bulk download tools, headless browser scraping, and similar techniques are not permitted.
No
Automated access without authorization is prohibited.
Bots, scripts, crawlers, agents, or other automated tools may not access the Service without prior written permission. This includes AI agents browsing on your behalf.
No
Probing, attacking, or interfering with the Service is prohibited.
Penetration testing without authorization, denial-of-service activity, exploit development, or any conduct that degrades availability for other users is prohibited.
OK
Responsible security disclosure is welcomed.
If you find a security vulnerability, contact [email protected] with details before disclosure. We will acknowledge and work in good faith.
Section 06Community conduct
No
Harassment, threats, and abuse are prohibited.
Threats, targeted harassment, hateful conduct, sexual harassment, stalking, doxxing, or coordinated abuse against any person are prohibited in any community channel, comment thread, message, or interaction connected to the Service.
No
Spamming, advertising, and unauthorized promotion are prohibited.
You may not use the community channels for promotional content, affiliate links, multi-level marketing recruitment, or unsolicited commercial messages.
No
Posting another person's protected health information is prohibited.
You may share your own health information at your discretion. You may not share another identifiable person's medical history, lab values, prescriptions, or related data without their explicit, documented consent.
OK
Sincere disagreement and hard questions are fine.
Substantive critique, citation challenges, and pointed questions about the curriculum are part of how the field improves. Tone and good faith are expected.
